Tolerance implies no lack of commitment to one's own beliefs. Rather it condemns the oppression or persecution of others." -John F. Kennedy.
The unfortunate passage of Proposition 8 definitely gets me "fired up," as I am an adament supporter of equal rights and tolerance.

Q: Where do you see yourself in the art scene today?
A: I see myself as a young artist who is eager to participate in social action and share a passion for philanthropy and art through different mediums of work.
Q: What’s your inspiration?
A: I am inspired by music, social injustice, nature, and my fellow artists. I hope to share my inspiration through my artwork.
Q: What are your biggest challenges?
A: My biggest challenges are self-doubt, and struggling to make the images and craziness in my head a cohesive piece.
Q: How did you choose your medium?
A: I like photography to capture events like exciting, controversial protests. I use other mediums when I want to show and express my own interpretation of an event.

A: Alex Pardee.
