B) UPLOAD IMAGES (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

Submit the images you want to include in your website gallery...including an ARTIST PHOTO if you want it included with your bio.  It is recommended that they be a cohesive body of work that best represents your style and is available for sale, if you are choosing to have an e-commerce page. Sculptors may send 2 different views of each sculpture.

REQUIREMENTS:

  1. Images submitted must be professional quality images that accurately represent the quality of your work. They should be sharply focused, undistorted images with true color, good lighting and even exposure.
  2. Artwork must be photographed without any frames or other objects.
  3. Use your NAME and the title of the artwork in the title of the file [e.g. Rachel Smith-SUMMER WAVES.jpg].
  4. Upload your images as .jpg file or .tif files, 72 dpi, no larger than 1000 x 1000 pixels in size.

 


 
 

C) ADD ARTIST STATEMENT AND BIO

An artist statement serves as a basic introduction of you as an artist, explaining why and how you make your art. It should pertain to the body of work featured on your site. For tips read our article "How to Write an Artist Statement."

An artist bio a summarized, narrative version of your resume, but shorter and with more personality. It should include a list of exhibitions/shows and designate group vs solo shows, as well as education and art training, if any.


 
A partial payment is required before work can commence. The total price is determined by the number of pages and images you want on your website and any other features you choose, like e-commerce.  Start with one of our 3 affordable pricing packages.

NOTE:  Not all artists are accepted for inclusion.  If your work is not accepted, you will receive a full refund within 5 business days of notification.  ArtSceneToday.com exhibits original work only - we do not accept mass produced prints. Fine art photography is acceptable.
